Since the opening of the January transfer window, Chelsea Football Club has been among the most active clubs in the Premier League. The Blues have already added two new players to their squad and are reportedly in the market for more. The first arrival at Stamford Bridge was midfielder Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven. The England U21 international has been brought in to provide depth to the Blues' attack, which has been hit by injuries to Raheem Sterling and Christian Pulisic.
The second signing of the window was defender Benoit Badiashile from AS Monaco. The France international has been brought in to strengthen the Blues' defence, which has been shaky at times this season. Badiashile is a left-footed centre-back who is comfortable playing in a back three or a back four.
Chelsea are also reportedly interested in signing a new central midfielder and a new striker before the end of the window. The Blues have been linked with a move for Moises Caicedo of Brighton & Hove Albion and Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund. They have also been linked with a move for RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku.
The January transfer window closes on 31 January. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will be able to add any more players to their squad before then. However, the Blues have already made some significant additions that could help them to achieve their goals this season.
