In a highly anticipated rematch, Conor McGregor will face his former Ultimate Fighter coaching rival in a blockbuster UFC 299 main event on June 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event will mark McGregor's first fight since his knockout victory over Michael Chandler in August 2023.

McGregor, one of the most polarizing figures in sports, has been teasing a return to the Octagon for months. The Irishman has been working his way back from a broken leg suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.

McGregor's opponent has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be a top contender in the lightweight or welterweight division.
